the cure - WANT

Why not bust out an old, semi-forgotten Cure track? It’s a late hour and I am sampling old songs that i used to wear out in my younger years. The first track off the fairly blah “Wild Mood Swings” was always a killer to me. I loved this track. It doesn’t hurt that it sounds like that angry, dark Cure from the earlier days, but yet there it was. In the midst of a happier, more upbeat album. It’s heavy shit, as per usual with Robert Smith and the boys, and my teenage self, listening to the local college radio station that played the hell out of it back in the day, fucking loved it.
