Back in the Halloween saddle here with a second collection of Halloween jams for your party or leisure needs. This collection leans closer toward the indie rock side of things. You’ll notice some classics and some songs that maybe you didn’t previously think of as Halloween songs per se, but do have a vibe that fits well within the season. Next time around will be a collection of dark electronic and dance influenced Halloween fun, which should drop on the page sometime early next week.

THE GHOSTS OF HALLOWEEN /// PART|ONE

I’m starting off the Halloween season a week or so early with this, the first in a series of mixtapes bridging new and old tracks that have similar vibes and that fit together for your future Halloween parties. I wanted to connect some of the classic eerie rock tracks with some darker electronic numbers and all of the post-punk and goth pop in between. By no means are these intended to be a list of essential Halloween cuts. I’ve scattered some obvious choices with some less obvious ones and if you think I’m missing something, chances are they will appear on a later part of the series.
