There are dozens of covers of this song floating around out there, but where as those versions tend to lean toward the darker side of things (slowed way down, gothed up), this one keeps the proceedings generally more folksy, but still haunting. It’s mostly thanks to the great vocal harmonies used within the band. It’s a solid cover and does it’s job of helping my brain look onward to the coming Halloween season where I’ll be digging out various other versions for mixtapes and whatnot.
