Chromatics are already having a brilliant year following the release of their stunning album, “Kill For Love”, but now they’ve gone and released a collection of b-sides and outtakes from those sessions in the form of a mixtape, courtesy of Johnny Jewel’s Soundcloud page. One such track is this absolutely breathtaking rendition of the classic, “Blue Moon” (originally written by Richard Rogers and Lorenz Hart, but performed by everyone from Elvis Presley to Mel Torme to Billie Holiday). This particular performance is an ethereal beauty, with practically no musical accompaniment aside from some ambient atompherics. This is an absolute stunner.
