THE|DARK|OF|AUTUMN // Dreaming In Waves - Ep. 7 (a p|m|w radio mixtape)
For the seventh installment of Dreaming In Waves (previous installments here), I decided to do something that I did last year and break out a mix for the Autumn season that brings darker, more jagged and angular sounds for the longer nights. Still coming in at 120 Minutes and familiar territory (post punk, darkwave, electro shoegaze, and the more ethereal side of dream pop), this shouldn’t be too big of a leap from the usual, but it certainly leans toward darker sounds for the chillier side of the season. For those longer nights and cooler temps, these are songs (new and old) that feel more like the season, not necessarily a warm counter balance to the season. Let it soundtrack those quiet, black nights however you wish, but please enjoy the listen and support the acts that catch your attention.
