Oh, how I’ve waited for this. One of my favorite bands is back on the scene with a tremendous new track. Bear in Heaven, those purveyors of dark, synth-heavy, psych pop brilliance have released the first track (that’s not slowed down 400,000 times) from their new album, I Love You, It’s Cool, and it’s a good one. Layers of synths, airy and shimmering, cascading over each other while Jon Philpot delivers some of the catchier melodies of the band’s career. Highest recommendation.
