“Endless Winter” by Doldrums // Empire Sound EP (2011)

Airick Woodhead’s Doldrums project is pretty incredible and warping and manipulating beats and samples into new and adventurous listening. His new EP, Empire Sound, is no exception. “Endless Winter” is one of the tracks from that new release and it’s a chilly, distorted, melancholic pop song that’s heavy on the layers of abstract beats and hallucinogenic reversed guitars. It’s an extremely cool sound and one that has me excited to see the places that this artist will be heading in his career. Stream the entire EP now at Altered Zones
